Our Story

21 years ago, I was a new mom at the ripe age of 22 who didn’t know much other than I was obsessed with my little girl.  Though I couldn’t afford all the cutest clothes, I somehow managed to always have her dressed in the cutest things I could find.  Her nickname was biscuits because when she would take off running after bath time, her two little butt cheeks looked like Little Biscuits.  I would chase her around our apartment cheering, “I’m going to get your little biscuits!”

I now have 4 children, 3 of them by marriage and I am lucky enough to be a grandma to one gorgeous grandson.  My husband, their father, passed away unexpectedly in 2021.  I was blessed to have both of my daughters stay with me for 6 months.  Many times, we would discuss starting a company together and having a family-owned business.  A woman owned business.  Together, we brainstormed and came up with what we would want out of a clothing line.  Functional, fashionable and snuggly clothing for our little ones.  With dressing my grandson, we realized that baby clothes haven’t really evolved that much.  We didn’t want to have to take his arms out of his outfit in order to change his diaper.  So a reversible zipper is a must for us.  When he was a newborn and we had him dressed in a sac and his little feet would kick off his socks leaving his feet sticking out of the elastic bottom getting cold.  Hence us wanting a knot at the bottom.  And how many times have you snapped up their outfit and realized you were off a snap and had to start all over.  That is why our center snap is a different color, so you know where to start.  We aren’t reinventing the wheel; we are just greasing it.

Our logo has a story of its own.  After Mike died it was hard to find joy in our days.  Every night around the dinner table we would go around asking what the best part of our day was.  Many days the only positive I could come up with was the sunrise.  Rather than a sun in our logo, we chose the promise of the rainbow.   It is hard to look at a rainbow and not smile with gratitude.  Within our story, a sunrise or a rainbow gave us hope.  For some of you there was a struggle to conceive.  For one of my best friends, she suffered 7 miscarriages before she gave birth to a healthy little boy and then a little girl 2 years later.  We all need clothing, but this line represents something more for us.  We were looking for something new, a new chapter, and here we are.

We are thrilled and honored to be able to share our dream of starting this clothing line with you and your little biscuits.  We want to thank you for bringing our dream to life.  One little biscuit at a time.
